Glossary Item Box
The template hospitality database contains default accounts and associated access codes for generic roles that may be required in a restaurant, cafe or bar environment. Refer to the Add/Edit Staff Details page for more information.
Roles
Amicus includes roles for common staff types. Each staff member’s details should be added to the database. A role should be assigned to each staff member, and their name and default access codes should be changed.
The Roles that have been added to the template database are: Administrator, Owner, Manager, Floor Manager, and Floor Staff, each with a lower level of privileges than the last. This is so that different people within your business have varying levels of access to Amicus. More information regarding the management/creation of roles can be found on the Roles Tab page.

Note: It is highly advised that you change the names, password and key codes that have been added to the template database to match the staff accounts needed for your business.
