The Cash Drawer options allow you to add a cash drawer device to this register that will automatically open whenever you finalise a sale or cash receipt.
If the cash drawer is physically attached to this register, select which port the cash drawer is attached to in the Attached to port field. Available options include all available serial and parallel ports plus USB and a <via printer> option for when your cash drawer for this register is connected to your strip printer.
Select the Emulation Mode for your cash drawer. By default this should be the name of the manufacturer of your cash drawer. Doing this will allow the cash drawer to work correctly. NBS Amicus supports OPOS Devices.
The Eject Cash Drawer button will allow you to test the operation of your cash drawer. When using this option, you may be required to enter your key code, depending on your security settings, before NBS Amicus will open the drawer.
