Overview
Suspending A Sale is a feature of the Amicus POS which allows the cashier to put the current sale (and items entered in the current sale) temporarily on hold. When a sale is suspended the Amicus POS system saves the current sale. The cashier can later resume the sale transaction from the point where it was put on hold.
A typical scenario where this feature can be used is when a customer has forgotten to pick up a few items and needs to go back to the aisle where the item is kept. In such scenario the cashier can suspend the sale. Once the customer returns with additional items, the sale can be resumed from the point at which it was suspended. The cashier in the meanwhile can cater to additional customers.
This feature can thus provide an enhanced level of service for the customer and can help save the cashier's time.
