Introduction
This section is designed to assist standard users in the fuel industry, to learn the basics of operating Amicus. Some of the advice given below will be more or less relevant to your individual situation and will depend on your individual configuration and hardware.
As a standard user, there are a few common tasks which you will likely be required to perform, as follows;

Step 1 - Getting Around - Most standard users will have access to a variety of screens. The most common of which is the "Main Screen" . From here, you will be able to access all other Amicus functionality, provided that you have sufficient security rights to do so. Refer to the Managing Roles article for more information on security rights. If you are new to Amicus, it is recommended that you read the article Main Screen , once you are happy with navigating your way around the main screen, please continue reading.

Step 3 - Sales - In the majority of fuel environments, it is also important to know how to add non-fuel products to sales. In addition to selling fuel products, it is useful that you learn how to add other non-fuel products to a sale and use the sale screen to its full potential. Sale creation is designed to be extremely easy with the only base requirements being that you add items to the sale, select a payment method (such as cash or cheque) and end the sale. Depending on your individual business needs, you may also be required to interact with other devices such as EFTPOS terminals, or record additional information.
