An example in customer pricing
For further information refer to Add/Edit Customer, Add/Edit Product and Pricing Wizard.
In this example we will give a 2c per litre discount to all truck drivers.
Figure 1 shows the Add/Edit Customers dialogue with a generic customer with a company of Truck Drivers and a customer group called 101 Truckies.
Figure 2 shows the Add/Edit Product dialogue containing a tank fuel product with the Product group called 101 Truckies.
Figure 3 shows the Fuel Configuration dialogue for pumps with the Fuel Product Group linked to the same Product Group as the tanks product.
Pricing Wizard
After the Product Group and Customer Group are setup run the Pricing Wizard, See Pricing Wizard in the NBS Amicus Administration User Guide for further details. There are three stages in the wizard that require attention. First is the Product Related Conditions. Here you will need to specify the Product Group containing the fuel products.
The second is the Other Conditions. Here you will need to specify the Customer Group containing the generic customer.
The third condition is the Adjustment Type. Here we need to specify 3 details; Select the Decrease option to apply a discount, Select the type of adjustment to $ Change By to decrease by a whole figure and finally set the retail price to 0.02.
The result of the creation of this promo price is when a purchase of fuel is made & the customer selected is part of the customer group we are notified that there will be a discount applied and all products in that group will have the sale price decreased by 2c. Figure 4 shows the sale before the customer has been chosen, the warning what the customer is chosen & the result to the fuel price after the 2c per litre discount has been applied.
