Glossary Item Box

NBS Amicus provides a range of flexible methods for pricing products. Pricing can be based on:

  • Time Slots including happy hours, or daily, weekly or monthly specials. Any of the following pricing methods can be used for time based pricing:

    • Individual Products can have time based information included in the following places

      • Product Site Pricing tab: set the start time for a new price to commence. Refer to Site Pricing for further information.

      • Product Promo Pricing tab: for individual products.
    • Pricing Wizard: time based pricing groups of products. Refer to Pricing Wizard for further information.
  • Product groupings based on the type of product, supplier, manufacturer or NBS Amicus group, sub-department or department.
    • Use the Pricing Wizard described on page 130 to price groups of products.

  • Individual ad-hoc pricing on the product and at the time of sale.
    • Sale time pricing that can be adjusted using the Enter Sale screen and selecting:
      • Price Override: to modify the sale price directly

      • Qty Override: to modify the price based on the quantity ordered.

      • Apply Discount: to modify the price by a percentage of the original price.

  • Bulk pricing based on the upload of a pricing file. Refer to Price Change in Pricing Wizard for further information.

    • Bulk pricing files must have the following three columns:

      • Code

      • RRP

      • Cost is the price of the item when recieved from the supplier and input a stock receipt in to amicus.

        i.e. you recieve x items for $3 and input a stock reciept for that amount. The cost at sale is $3 per item.
