Serial Numbers

This tab provides for the entry of product serial numbers. Serial numbers entered here will be displayed to the operator at the time of a product sale so each product can be assigned the correct serial number.

The Serial Numbers tab comprises the following elements:

• Serial Number table: displays the serial number and associated information.
• Product Record controls: these controls allow navigation through all NBS Amicus records.

Enable Serial Numbers for this product: Select this check box if the product has a serial number, to enable the entry of serial numbers.

Serial Number list

Serial No. Purchased, Sale No. and the date the product was Sold.

Order by

Order By: Serial Number or Date purchased.

Printing

Print Serial Numbers: Opens a print dialog. Serial numbers can be located by Start date, End Date or Product Code.

Serial Number buttons

To add a serial code to the selected product click on the Add button. Doing this will bring up the Edit Serial Number screen. Add a number into the Serial Number field and then press the Save button to add the serial number to the Serial Numbers tab. Click on the Close button to exit the Edit Serial Number screen.

Clicking on the Edit button will open up the Edit Serial Number dialog with the selected Serial Number automatically populating the Serial Number field.

Record controls

Buttons to perform actions on the displayed dialogue includes; Navigational Arrows, Save, Find, Delete, Clear, Import, Merge, Close and Shelf Label.
