Introduction

This dialog will allow you to manually enter in a price/quantity/description at the time of scanning. There are defaults set, but this will let you override them.

 

How To Access This Screen

This screen appears when a product is selected (or scanned) on the sale screen. When it appears on the screen, a dialog will appear over the top of it asking you to enter in values for the price, quantity or description.

 

How To Use This Screen

Simply add the relevant details to the required fields using your keyboard or on the number pad provided.  Please note that you may only edit the fields with a white back ground.  All fields on a yellow background are pre-filled with information and are read only.

If you are using the on-screen number pad only, then you will need to select the field you wish to alter, then press "Clear", followed by the desired value.  The Up and Down arrows can also be used to increase/decrease values by one.

 

Configuration Requirements

• This screen will only appear for products that have been selected to prompt for details (Prompt for item price, Prompt for item quantity, Prompt for item description) on the Add/Edit Product screen. For more information, please refer to the Add And Edit Products article.
