Adding history, activity, note, and opportunity date ranges to report templates

To add a history, activity, note, or opportunity date range to a report template

  1. Create or modify a report template.

The report appears in the Report Designer.

  1. In the Toolbox, click the System Field tool.

  2. Position the cross-hair pointer on the template where you want to insert the field, and then click and drag the mouse to define the field's size.

  3. From the Select System Field dialog box, select Activity Range, Note Range, History Range, or Sales Range, and then click Add.

If you do not want to add a label to the system field, clear the Include a label field on the Select System Field dialog box.

  1. Continue adding fields, or click Close to close the dialog box.
