Setting up new e-mail notification

To set up new e-mail notification option

1. From the Tools menu, click Preferences, and then click the E-mail tab.

2. Select the When connected, notify me of new mail every ____minutes option, and then select the number of minutes that should pass before ACT! checks for new messages.

3. Select the Play sound when new e-mail arrives option, and then select either Beep or Wav file. Click Browse to navigate to the location of the .wav file you want to play.

4. Click Apply, and then click OK.
