Creating and formatting bulleted lists
To create and format a bulleted list
If necessary, open the document.
The document appears in the word processor.
From the Format menu, point to Bullets and Numbering, and then click Attributes.
The Bullets and Numbering dialog box appears.
From the Bulleted/Numbered box, select the bulleted list option.
From the Bullet character box, select the type of bullet and the font size of the bullet.
To select a bullet not shown in the Bullet character box, click the Bullet button and select a character. |
In the Bullet/Number position field, set the amount of space you want to use between the bullet and the text in the document.
In the Text position field, specify the amount of space you want to use to increase or decrease the space between the bullet and the text for the list.
In the Separating Character list, select Tab or Space as the separating character between the bullet and the text for the list, or select None to avoid using a separating character, and then click OK.
To increase or decrease the distance between the list and the margin, from the Format menu, click Bullets and Numbering, and then click Increase Level or Decrease Level. |
