Re-creating a remote database
If you are an Administrator or Manager user for a main database, you can re-create a remote database. You may need to do this if a remote database synchronization period has expired, or if you disabled the remote database.
To re-create a remote database
From the Tools menu, click Synchronization Panel.
In the User Tasks box, click Manage Database.
Select the remote database you want to re-create, and then in the Admin Tasks box, click Recreate Database.
Click Yes at the confirm message prompt.
In the Recreate Database dialog box, in the Database Location field, type a location or click Browse to specify a location to store the database.
(Optional) If you want the database file to be password protected, click File is password protected, type a password in the Password field, and then type the password again in the Confirm Password field.
Click OK.
The Database Recreation in Progress screen appears. The process will take a few minutes. If necessary, you can click Cancel to stop the recreation process.
At the Recreation successful message, click OK.
The re-created database appears in the list with a Status of Active.
Select another database to recreate, or click Home.
