Customizing toolbar and menu displays

To change the toolbar display

• From the Tools menu, point to Customize, and then click Show Large Buttons, or Show Small Buttons.

To change menu displays

1. From the Tools menu, point to Customize, and then click Menus and Toolbars.

2. Click the Options tab.

3. The default setting is to always show full menus. Select Show full menus after a short delay to view only the most used functions first, and then the full menu.

4. Click the Reset my data usage button if you want to display the default menu items instead of your most used menu items.

5. To display a brief explanation when you rest the pointer over a toolbar button, select Show Tooltips on menus and toolbars.

6. To view shortcut keys, select Show shortcut keys in tooltips.

7. To change the way the menus are drawn, select an option from the Menu animation list. The changes are very subtle.
