Setting e-mail preferences

To set e-mail preferences

  1. From the Tools menu, click Preferences, and then click the E-mail tab. For field definitions, press F1.

  2. Do one or more of the following:

  • To select your default e-mail system, in the Send e-mail to contacts using box, select one of the e-mail systems you have installed.

  • To set up an e-mail system, click E-mail System Setup, and then follow the instructions on the wizard.

  • To specify message settings and create or modify signatures, click Composing Options.

  • Select other e-mail options regarding attachments and folders.

  1. Click Apply to save your settings, and then click OK.
