Formatting pages

You can adjust the amount of space in the top, bottom, left, or right margins of the page and set page breaks. You can also create a page header or footer.

Headers and footers contain text or graphics that appear at the top or bottom of a page. You can create a header or footer for the first page that is different than other pages. For example, you may want your company’s logo at the top of the first page and the page number and date at the bottom of every page. You can format headers and footers just as you can any other text in your document, such as font size, text alignment, and so on.
