Creating lookups from keyword search results

To create a lookup from keyword search results

  1. Follow the steps to find contacts, companies, or groups using keywords.

  2. From the Keyword Search dialog box, click Create Lookup.

A lookup of all records is created.

  1. To create a lookup of only selected records, select the records from the search results first, and then click Create Lookup.

ACT! creates a lookup of the record type and displays the records in the Contact List, Group List, or Company List window. The Keyword Search window is minimized in the lower left corner of the window so that you can perform another keyword search later, if necessary.
