Creating contact records from e-mail messages

If you receive an e-mail message from someone who is not a contact is your database, you can easily create a contact record for the sender.

To create a contact record from an e-mail message

  1. From the ACT! E-mail window, select the e-mail message from the sender you want to create a contact record for.

  2. From the Actions menu, click Create Contact From Sender.

  3. In the New Contact dialog box, enter the contact's information in the empty fields, and then click OK. Press F1 for field definitions.
