Moving objects and fields in report templates

To move objects in a report template

1. Create or modify a report template.

The report appears in the Report Designer.

2. Select the object you want to move, and then drag it to another location in your form.

You can set up options so that objects "snap" or align to gridlines. For more information, see Turning on Snap to Grid.

To nudge an object

• Select the object, and then use your arrow keys to nudge the object up, down, left, or right.

To move an object pixel-by-pixel

• Select the object, press and hold Ctrl, and then use your arrow keys to move it pixel-by-pixel up, down, left, or right.
