Scheduling an activity series

You must create a series before you can schedule it. Then, you can schedule an activity series with yourself and/or with contacts.  

Before scheduling the series with a large number of contacts, test the series by scheduling it with one contact.

No conflict checking is performed when the activities are scheduled. All activities are scheduled as timeless, non-recurring, public activities.

To complete this procedure, you must have the appropriate permissions assigned to you. For more information, see About user roles and permissions.

To schedule an activity series

  1. From the Schedule menu, click Activity Series.

The Schedule Activity Series dialog box appears. For field definitions, press F1.

  1. From the Activity Series template list, select the activity series that you want to schedule.

  2. In the Series anchor date field, select the anchor date.

  3. In the With list, select the contact with which to schedule the activity series, and then click OK.

or

To schedule an activity in the series with multiple contacts, from the Contacts button, click Select Contacts, select the contacts, and then click OK.

To schedule an activity series with a new contact, My Record, or to select contacts from a list, click the Contacts button and select the appropriate option.

  1. Click Schedule.
