Copying or moving a contact record

You can copy or move contact data to combine existing contact records or to share information between records.

Only an administrator or manager of a database can combine contact records. See About user roles and permissions for more information.

To copy or move a contact record

  1. From the Tools menu, click Copy/Move Contact Data.

  2. When the wizard appears, follow the instructions on the screens, clicking Next to advance. Press F1 for more help.

  3. Click Finish when done.

After copying and moving data, you have the option to delete any contact records that are not users of your database.
