Exporting and viewing a list of opportunities

When you export a list of opportunities, you can view the list in Microsoft Excel, as well as view a pivot table and chart. The column headings and order are retained in the exported list. You must have Microsoft Excel 2000, 2002, or 2003 installed.

To export a list of opportunities to Microsoft Excel

  1. From the navigation bar, click Opportunity List.

  2. Filter the opportunities.

  3. From the toolbar, click the Export to Excel tool.

ACT! displays the list of opportunities in Microsoft Excel.

Only one product is listed in the Product Name column of the opportunity. Opportunities with multiple products are indicated by an ellipses (...) displaying after the product in the Product Name column.

To view a pivot chart of the exported opportunity list

  • From the Excel window, click the Opportunities Pivot Chart tab.

To view a pivot table by record manager

  • From the Excel window, click the Opportunities Pivot tab.
