Printing reports

You can print a report from the Print dialog box, you can send the report directly to the printer when you run a report, or you can print a report from the program associated with the output option you selected when running a report. For information about running a report, see Running a report. For information about printing from the output option you selected when running a report, see the help for the program associated with the output option.

To print a report from the Print dialog box

  1. From the File menu, click Print.

The Print dialog box appears. For field definitions, press F1.

  1. From the Printout Type list, select Reports.

  2. From the Paper Type list, select the type of report you want to print.

  3. Click Print.

The Define Filters dialog box appears. For field definitions, press F1.

  1. Select the options you want to use to filter information on the report, and then click OK. For more information about defining filters on a report, see Running a report.

  2. On the Print Preview window, click Print, and then click OK.

You can also edit the template before printing the report. To edit a report template, click the Edit Template button. For more information about modifying report templates, see Modifying a report template.
