Adding and deleting shortcut keys
To add a shortcut key
From the Tools menu, point to Customize, and then click Menus and Toolbars.
In the Customize Menus and Toolbars dialog box, click the Keyboard tab.
In the Categories list, select the name of the menu that contains a command you want to assign a shortcut key to.
The Commands and Assigned shortcuts lists display the commands on the selected menu and the shortcuts that are currently assigned.
To assign a shortcut key to a command that you created, select Custom Commands. |
In the Commands list, select a command, and then click Assign Shortcut.
In the Assign Shortcut dialog box, press the key combination that you want to assign to the command.
If a command is currently using the shortcut key combination you pressed, it appears in Shortcut key currently assigned to. If you do not want to override the current assignment, press another key combination.
Click OK to save the new assignment, and then click Close.
To delete a shortcut
From the Tools menu, point to Customize, and then click Menus and Toolbars.
In the Customize Menus and Toolbars dialog box, click the Keyboard tab.
In the Categories list, select the name of the menu that contains a command you want to assign a shortcut key to.
The Commands and Assigned shortcuts lists display the commands on the selected menu and the shortcuts that are currently assigned.
To delete a shortcut key from a command that you created, select Custom Commands. |
In the Commands list, select the command, and then click Remove Shortcut.
Click Close.
