Copying or moving text
You can move or copy a word, sentence, or block of text from one location to another.
To copy and paste text
If necessary, open the document.
The document appears in the word processor.
Within the document, select the text to copy.
From the Edit menu, click Copy.
Place the cursor where you want to insert the text.
From the Edit menu, click Paste.
To move text
If necessary, open the document.
The document appears in the word processor.
Within the document, select the text to move (cut).
From the Edit menu, click Cut.
Place the cursor where you want to insert the text.
From the Edit menu, click Paste.
