Adding or deleting list values in fields

To add a list value to a field in a Detail view

  1. From a Detail view, click the drop-down arrow for the field you want to add a value to.

  2. Click Edit List Values.

The Edit List dialog box appears. For field definitions, press F1.

  1. Click the Add button.

  2. In the Value column, type the name of the list value you want to add.

  3. (Optional) In the Description column, type a description of the list value.

  4. Click OK.

When you click Add, you must type a Value before you can add or delete another value or close the dialog box. If you attempt to add or delete another value or close the Edit List dialog box before entering a value, a dialog box appears to direct you to either edit the value or delete the value.

To delete a list value from a field in a Detail view

  1. From the Detail view, click the drop-down arrow for the field you want to add a value to.

  2. Click Edit List Values.

The Edit List dialog box appears. For field definitions, press F1.

  1. Select the value you want to delete, and then click Delete.

  2. Click Yes to confirm the deletion.
