Customizing the alarm for an activity

You can customize the alarm audio notification for an activity.

To customize the alarm for an activity

1. From the Tools menu, click Preferences.

2. Click the Calendar & Scheduling tab, and then click the Scheduling Preferences button.

The Scheduling Preferences dialog box opens.

3. Click the Customize Alarms button.

The Customize Alarm dialog box opens. For field definitions, press F1.

4. In the Audio notification area, select Play sound, and then do one of the following:

• To hear a system beep for an activity, select System beep for and set the number of seconds the beep will sound.

• To hear a custom WAV sound, select Custom wav file, set the number of times for the WAV  file to play, and type the location of the WAV file or click Browse to locate the file.

5. Click OK.
