Filtering opportunities from the Opportunities tab

You can filter opportunities using the filter options across the top of the Opportunities tab, or you can filter opportunities by using the right-click shortcut menu and selecting Filter Opportunities. You can also filter opportunities from the Opportunity List.

To filter opportunities in a contact's Opportunities tab

  1. Find the contact whose opportunities you want to filter. For information on locating a specific contact, see Looking up contacts.

If the lookup found a single contact, the Contact view for that contact appears. If the lookup found multiple contacts, double-click the contact's name on the Contact List to display the Contact view.

  1. From the Contacts view, click the Opportunities tab.

  2. In the Dates list, select a date option.

  3. In the Status list, select the check boxes for the opportunity status you want to display.

  4. To display opportunities for specific users, click the Select Users button, select the contacts whose opportunities you want to view, and then click OK.

  5. To include private opportunities, click Options, and then select Show Private.

Selecting Show Private displays your private opportunities only.

To filter opportunities in a group's or company's Opportunities tab

  1. Find the group or company whose opportunities you want to filter. For information on locating a specific group or company, see Looking up groups or Looking up companies.

  2. From the Group or Company view, click the Opportunities tab.

  3. In the Show For list, select whether you want to show opportunities for the group/company or the contacts associated with the group/company.

  4. In the Dates list, select a date option.

  5. In the Status list, select the check boxes for the opportunity status you want to display.

  6. To display opportunities for specific users, click the Select Users button, select the contacts whose opportunities you want to view, and then click OK.  

  7. To include private opportunities, click Options, and then select Show Private.
