Recording call histories

Recording call histories is the same as recording an activity history.

Recording a call history from the Contact window

  • When you hang up the telephone and close the Dialer dialog box and/or the timer, the Record History dialog box appears. Record the outcome of your call.

If the timer was used, the elapsed time of the call is shown in the Duration field in the History record.

If you timed the call, you may have to stop the timer to display the Record History dialog box.
