Importing and exporting product lists
If you have a product list in Microsoft Excel and want to import it into ACT!, you must first save it as a comma-delimited file. For information about saving a comma-delimited (csv) file, see Microsoft Excel's help. For more information about importing and exporting a list, see About importing and exporting list values.
To import a product list
From the Contacts menu, point to Opportunities, and then click Manage Product List.
The Manage Product List dialog box appears. For field definitions, press F1.
Click Import.
The Import Products dialog box appears. For field definitions, press F1.
Click Browse to locate the product list you want to import, select the product, and then click Open.
(Optional) Select Replace products with the same name if you want to replace the product information of a duplicate product with the product information from the list you are importing.
(Optional) Select Source file has column headers if the file contains column headers.
Click Import.
To export a product list
From the Contacts menu, point to Opportunities, and then click Manage Product List.
The Manage Product List dialog box appears. For field definitions, press F1.
Click Export.
Browse to the folder you want to export the product list to, select the file, and then click Save.
