Timing outgoing calls

Follow this procedure only if you do not have your preferences set to start the timer automatically.

 

To time outgoing calls

  1. Select a contact to call and place the call using a TAPI-enhanced telephone or using your modem.  

  2. From the Tools menu, click Timer.

  3. In the timer, click Start any time after dialing.

  1. (Optional) Do any of the following while timing your call:

  • To pause the timer, click Pause; click Start to resume timing.

  • To stop the timer and cancel the call history before you hang up, click the Close button in the top right corner of the timer.

  • To stop the timer and create a call history, click Stop.
