Updating your ACT! and Outlook calendars

You can update your ACT! and Outlook calendars and select a time frame for the updated activities. Outlook does not have to be running to update your ACT! and Outlook calendars. For more information, see Understanding calendar integration.

To update your ACT! and Outlook calendars

  1. Open the ACT! database that you want to update.

  2. From the Tools menu, point to Outlook Activities, and then click Update Activities.

The Update Calendars dialog box appears. For field definitions, press F1.

  1. In the Update box, select the type of update you want to perform.

  2. In the For these dates box, select a date option, and if you chose Date Range, select a start date and an end date.

  3. Click Update.

If you are updating your ACT! calendar with Outlook activities and a recurring Outlook activity falls within the date or dates you select, your ACT! calendar will include all occurrences of the Outlook activity.
