Adding, editing, and deleting items in the product list

To complete this procedure, you must have the appropriate permissions assigned to you. For more information, see About user roles and permissions.

To add an item to the opportunity product list

  1. From the Contacts menu, point to Opportunities, and then click Manage Product List.

  2. In the Manage Product List dialog box, click Add. For field definitions, press F1.

  3. Type the name, item number, cost, and price of the product you are adding.

To edit an item in the opportunity product list

  1. From the Contacts menu, point to Opportunities, and then click Manage Product List.

  2. Select the product field you want to edit, and then edit the field. For field definitions, press F1.

To delete an item from the opportunity product list

  1. From the Contacts menu, point to Opportunities, and then click Manage Product List.

  2. Select the product you want to delete, and then click Delete. For field definitions, press F1.

  3. Click Yes to confirm the deletion.
