Selecting the main dictionary file
ACT! spelling checker searches a standard or "main" dictionary when performing a spell check.
To select the main dictionary file
From the Tools menu, click Preferences, and then click the Communication tab.
Click Spelling Preferences.
Under Select main dictionary, click Browse.
- From the list of dictionary files in the Spell folder, select the one you want to use for your main dictionary, and then click Open.

The default main dictionary file is called Main.dct. Do not change this selection unless you have installed another standard dictionary file. |
