Viewing the synchronization log

ACT! Premium Web 2005 Server

Viewing the synchronization log

You can view the synchronization log for the main and remote databases. This log includes the details and error logging of the synchronization sessions between the Sync Server and remote databases. You can use the synchronization log to verify synchronization and ensure items sent and items received are being updated.

Purging of the synchronization log is tied to the longest expiration period set for a remote database. For example, on a remote database, if the expiration period is 30 days, ACT! will maintain synchronization log entries for 31 days. After that time, older entries will be purged when maintenance is performed on the database.

To view the synchronization log

  1. From the Tools menu, click Synchronization Panel.

  2. In the User Tasks box, click View Sync Log.

  3. If you would like to print the details, you can right-click in the grid to Select All or Copy the synchronization log details and paste them into a file.
