Viewing opportunity history

You create a history for an opportunity when you open, change the status or stage, generate a quote, change the estimated close date, or when you close an opportunity. You can view opportunity history from the contact's, group's, or company's History tab, and you can use the history filters to narrow the amount of histories that display. To view the history for an opportunity

  • From the History tab, double-click the opportunity whose history you want to view.

The Edit History dialog box appears. You cannot edit any of the fields on the dialog box, but you can schedule a follow-up activity for the opportunity by clicking the Follow-up button.
