Creating an opportunity pipeline

An opportunity pipeline is a visual representation of the number of opportunities at each stage in the sales development process. Each section of a pipeline represents a stage in your sales development cycle. The size of each section is fixed and does not scale based on the number of opportunities at each stage. The pipeline includes open opportunities only, not won/closed or lost opportunities.

To create an opportunity pipeline

  2. From the toolbar, click Opportunity Pipeline.

The Opportunity Pipeline Options dialog box appears. For field definitions, press F1.

  1. In the Create graph for box, select the contact or lookup option for which you want to create an opportunity pipeline.

  2. In the Display data for sales managed by box, select whether to graph data for All users or Selected users, and if necessary, select the users from the list.
