Adding a Record Manager field to a layout

To add a Record Manager field to a layout

1. Open a layout in the Layout Designer window.

2. From the Toolbox, click Field, and then click Record Manager.

3. Position the cross-hair pointer on the layout or template where you want to add the field, and then drag it to define the field's size.

The Record Manager field and field label appears on the layout.
