Displaying Outlook activities and tasks in ACT! Premium for Web Server
If you set up your ACT! Premium for Web Server calendar to share data with Outlook, you can view Outlook activities and tasks in ACT! Premium for Web Server's Calendar, Task List, and on related contacts' Activities tab.
Outlook activities and tasks in ACT! Premium for Web Server have unique icons:
An Outlook activity updates as an ACT! Premium for Web Server meeting.
An Outlook task updates as an ACT! Premium for Web Server to-do.
To display Outlook tasks in the ACT! Premium for Web Server Task List
On the navigation bar, click Task List.
On the Task List title bar, click Hide Filters / Show Filters.
In the filters area, click Options, and then click Show Outlook Tasks.
Notice that Outlook tasks appear with the icon.
(Optional) To display task details, double-click the task title.
To display Outlook activities in ACT! Premium for Web Server calendars
On the navigation bar, click Calendars.
On the toolbar, click a calendar display mode ( Daily, Work Week, Weekly, Monthly).
Notice that all Outlook activities appear with the icon.
(Optional) To display activity details, double-click the activity title.
To display Outlook activities on the ACT! Premium for Web Server Activities tab
Display My Record.
Click the Activities tab.
In the Types list, select Meetings to display Outlook activities or select To-Do's to display Outlook tasks.
Notice that Outlook activities and tasks appear with their respective icons (as shown above).
(Optional) To display activity details, double-click the activity title.
These procedures display Outlook activities that you copied to your calendar through updating. It has no effect on Outlook activities that you imported to your database when importing contacts. |
