Files or attachments did not synchronize

Problem:

I have access to the contact record, but supplemental files or attachments did not synchronize.

Reasons for the problem:

There are several reasons why this may occur.

  1. When the remote database was created, the Administrator did not select the options to allow supplemental files or attachments to synchronize.

Solution: Synchronize first, then ask the Administrator of the main database to re-create another remote database, with the options for supplemental files and attachments selected. You can then unpack and restore the recreated database.

  1. It is possible that a file or attachment was being used when synchronization occurred.

Solution: The file or attachment should synchronize on the next scheduled synchronization session.
