Checking spelling in the Contact, Group, or Company Detail view fields

To check the spelling in the Contact, Group, or Company Detail view fields

  1. Display the contact, group, or company detail view to be spell checked.

  2. From the Tools menu, click Spelling.

The Spell Checking dialog box appears. For field definitions, press F1.

  1. If the Spell Check finds an unrecognized word, a replacement word appears in the Replace with field. Do one of the following:

  1. To replace the word with the one in the Replace with field, or with one of the suggested words in the Suggestions box, select an alternate word, and then click Replace.

  2. To do nothing, click Skip.

  3. To add the unrecognized word to the custom user dictionary, click Add.

  4. To cancel the spelling check, click Cancel.

  1. Repeat step 3 until the Spelling Check Status message appears and indicates that the check is complete.
