Adding and removing a tab using the Properties Window in a layout

To add a tab to a layout

1. Open the Properties Window in the Layout Designer.

2. Click a tab to display the tab property controls. For information about property controls, see Using the Properties Window. For information about the controls and how to use them, see Attribute properties.

3. In the Properties Window, click the Add Tab link.

The tab displays on the layout. You can edit the tab name or order of the tabs. For more information, see Adding and editing a tab in a layout and Changing the order of tabs in a layout.

To remove a tab from a layout

1. Open the Properties Window in the Layout Designer.

2. Click a tab to display the tab property controls. For information about property controls, see Using the Properties Window. For information about the controls and how to use them, see Attribute properties.

3. Select the tab you want to remove, and in the Properties Window, click the Remove Tab link.

The tab is removed from the layout.
