To prevent the address and status bars appearing on pop-up windows in your Web browser applications perform the following steps:
Close any popup windows displaying unwanted address or status bars.
Open Internet Options from the Tools menu.
Select the Security tab.
Select the security zone for your LANSA for the Web server. Note: It is recommended that you list your LANSA for the Web server as a Trusted Site.
Select the Custom Level button.
Scroll down to the Miscellaneous group of settings.
Under 'Allow web sites to open windows without address or status bars' select the Enable radio button.
Click OK to close Security Settings.
Click Yes on the change of settings for this zone warning.
Click OK to close Internet Options.
Open required pop-up windows and address and status bars should not be displayed.
Note: Customizing security settings for zones other that the Trusted Sites zone can pose serious security risks and is not recommended unless you are certain of the security implications.
