Grant Database Permissions to the Web User

To permit the LANSA Composer Web components (for example, the Operations Console) to operate successfully, you need to grant database permissions to the user id (for example, PCXUSER) specified in the User Id step of the LANSA Composer Server Setup wizard.

For a Microsoft SQL Server database, the LANSA Composer Server Setup wizard will have granted the permissions automatically.

Use your database management system's (DBMS) provided software to grant the permissions.  You must grant the permissions in the database used for LANSA Composer – that is the database specified in the Setup the Local Database step of the LANSA Composer Server Setup wizard.
