2.3.1 Work With Configurations

Using LANSA Composer you can create, maintain, and delete any number of Configurations according to your application's needs.

To work with Configurations, expand Configurations in the Navigator and click the Configuration type that you wish to work with. To find out how to locate and select Configurations to work with, refer to:

Test a Configuration

Some configurations will have a Test button. When clicked, it will run an activity that is used to check the validity of the configuration parameters. The parameters tested will differ depending on the type of configuration. At the end of the test, a processing sequence log will be shown to indicate whether connection has been successful and the error that has occurred.
