Using the Transaction Document Built-in Variables
Transaction document information may be referenced at run-time (in a Processing Sequence) in several ways:
- When processing is being performed for a particular transaction document, the attributes of the transaction document can be accessed through qualified forms of the *TXDOC built-in variable. Refer to Transaction Document (*TXDOC) Built-in Variable Qualifiers for more information.
- In order to access the transaction document attributes using the qualified forms of the *TXDOC variable you must first explicitly assign a value to the *TXDOC built-in variable. The value you assign must be the identifier (number) of a transaction document envelope defined in the LANSA Composer transaction document register.
