9.6.1 Before you Begin your Custom Activity
Before you begin development, you must prepare your development environment. You will need a correctly licensed and configured Visual LANSA development environment at the level defined in Install LANSA Composer.
- Development of your custom Activity Processor must be performed in a partition that is enabled for full RDMLX.
- You must import the LANSA Composer development package into the partition in which you will develop your Activity Processor. This provides:
- base classes that you will need to compile your Activity Processor and
- sample source code you can use to get started.
The LANSA Composer development package can be found in the folder DEV\Import on your LANSA Composer software DVD.
To get started, start the Visual LANSA development environment in the designated partition and copy the DXACTSKEL component to a new re-useable part for your Activity Processor.
