Include user-defined functions in a query (ADP)

Microsoft Office Access 2003

  1. In the Database window, click Queries Button image under Objects, click the query you want to open, and then click Design on the database window toolbar.
  2. Design the query to which you want to add the function. In the Query Designer, be sure the Diagram pane is visible.
  3. From the list of functions, drag the function onto the Diagram pane.

ShowInclude a scalar function in a query

  2. Design the query to which you want to add the function. In the Query Designer, be sure the Grid pane is visible.
  3. In the first blank row of the Grid pane, enter the name of the function in the Column column.
