- Open a query in Design view.

Click anywhere in query Design view outside the design grid and the field lists.
- On the Query Design toolbar, click Properties
. - In the Orientation property box, do one of the following:

For a right-to-left direction, click Right-to-Left.

For a left-to-right direction, click Left-to-right.

To change direction in Datasheet view
- Open a query in Datasheet view

Click anywhere in the text field.
- On the Format menu, click Datasheet.
- In the Direction option box, do one of the following:

For a right-to-left direction, click Right-to-Left.

For a left-to-right direction, click Left-to-right.
