Add a column in the design grid (MDB)

Note  The information in this topic applies only to a Microsoft Access database (.mdb).

  1. Open a query in Design view, or open a form or datasheet and show the Advanced Filter/Sort window.
  2. Click anywhere in the column to the left of which you want to add a new column.
  3. On the Insert menu, click Columns.
