View information about a field or item in PivotTable view

1. Open a datasheet or form in PivotTable view.
2. Do one of the following:
   • For information about a field, click the label of the field.
   • For information about an item of data in a field, click the item.
3. On the PivotTable toolbar, click Properties , and then click the Captions tab.
